Summer is Finally Here!!!

Alpine Heating and Cooling • July 2, 2019

Are you ready for the Hot weather? With the wet and cold Spring we've had in Ohio we are definitely are!

As temperatures rise, you want to make sure your air conditioner is in good condition. We recommend that our customers schedule a preventative maintenance to ensure proper cooling system operation. Our techs at Alpine Heating & Cooling are trained to catch small issues before they become big problems which create higher prices for our customers and scheduling conflicts for our service techs that could both be avoided.

But, your air conditioner is only one part of the cooling equation. Your thermostat also plays a vital role in your homes cooling!

The Department of Energy recommends that residential homes set their thermostat to 78°F during the summer. Setting your thermostat at this temperature will save you a good amount of money over a Summer season while maintaining a comfortable temperature.

During your preventative maintenance appointment, ask one of our trained technicians about what thermostat options are available. We have many models and options available ranging from an analog thermostat to a Wi-Fi-enabled model.

Programmable thermostats fall in the middle and is what we most often recommend to our customers. You can set the temperature based on your schedule. It makes airflow adjustments based on when you’re home and when you’re out of the house. This way, you are using the perfect amount of energy and resources to cool and heat your home!

Reach us today by email or phone and schedule your preventative maintenance visit!
