Clean those ducts !!!

Alpine Heating and Cooling • March 17, 2021

Everyone we know has heard of (and dreads) spring cleaning. We clean our walls, counters, closets, etc… but more often than not none one thinks of cleaning their ductwork.

While we may be a little bias, air quality is much more important than what most people think. Your Furnace and AC systems not only keep your home comfortable but also filter and clean the air that is circulated.

Improve Air Quality

Over winter dry air has caused dust to build up in your home’s ductwork. Spring hits and you turn that AC on, and it picks up and circulates all that debris into your breathing air. In addition, this can affect your system’s performance which over time can lead to repairs being needed or shorten the life span of your system.

Less Home Cleaning, Sign me up !!!

So, if you’re like well, everyone, you don’t enjoy cleaning your home more than necessary. If your ductwork is free from debris, dust & dirt you will see a noticeable difference in how clean your home is and stays!

How Often should I have this ducts cleaned?

This can vary depending upon type of home, pets, number of residents, etc… but traditionally we recommend every 3-5 years.
