Maybe it's not us???

While many customers we speak with are looking to replace their older central heating and cooling systems there are times that we see individuals who have newer systems that are installed correctly yet there is another issue going on.

If your home is older, or was not properly insulated when it was built, you could be losing heat through your windows, doors or even through the walls . This causes your furnace to run more often or at a higher temperature setting to maintain your home at a comfortable temperature. This increases your heating bills over the winter and leaves you with the Winter chills.

How can you tell if your home is under insulated? While we are not an insulation company we can give you a very simple idea to start the process. Do the touch test. The interior ceilings, walls and floors in your home should feel warm and dry. When drywall inside a home feels damp or cold, there is not enough insulation.

There are many other factors that go into the heating and comfort of your home.

If you are struggling to keep your home heated at comfortable temperatures please give us a call and we would be glad to visit your residence and do a quick walk through and give our opinions on what steps you should take this Winter to stay nice and cozy.
